Dan Nieto, from Southlake Texas, has spent 24 years as a Mortgage Executive. In that time he has been a successful loan originator, branch manager, Chief Talent Officer, President of Sales, and Bank Owner. Dan has led many teams and has built some of the mortgage industries largest companies like American Home Mortgage and Prospect Mortgage. Dan currently serves as SVP of Growth for Neighborhood Loans. Dan Graduated from California State University of Chico with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in Criminal Justice. In 1999 he was the #2 collegian journalist of the Year from the William Randolph Hurst foundation and in 2000 he was voted the #2 collegian writer of the year from the Eugene Pulliam Foundation. Both were paid scholarships and one of these awards resulted in a post graduate full-time role as sportswriter for the Arizona Republic. Dan co-founded the Live Moore- Love Moore cancer foundation in 2010 and has been an avid advocate for Homes for Heroes and the Miracle for Kids foundation. When Dan isn't with his family, he has spent over a decade practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  He is a three Stripe Brown Belt fighting as a Super Heavyweight in GI and Ultra Heavyweight in NoGI representing 413 Jiu Jitsu. He started competing in 2020 and has won 44 tournaments. In 2023 he won the Pan American Championship in Florida, later winning 4 Golds at American Nationals in Las Vegas and completing the "triple crown" by winning the World Championship in August in Las Vegas. Two weeks later Dan won his 4th Major of 2023 by winning Pan NO GI in Dallas as an Ultra heavyweight. Dan Ended 2023 Ranked #1 Super Heavyweight in the world Gi and overall and #1 Ultra Heavyweight No Gi and overall. In 2024 Dan repeated as Pan American Champion and later won another 4 Golds at American Nationals making him an 8x National Champion.
