Brendan O’Driscoll hates clichés. Nevertheless, he’s true to his word, treats people right, and believes in good old customer service: all clichés, ironically.  He is chock full of sometimes interesting trivia and often takes way too long answering your questions. He travels with a FoxHat and churns out funny videos with it.   He also is convinced that nearly everything can be explained by math.

As a child, Brendan witnessed, first hand, how rewarding it is to have a career that helps others improve their lives. Dr. O’Driscoll came to the United States from Ireland for his residency and, after falling in love with Brendan’s mother (then a nurse), his father remained in the U.S. and established a successful medical career.  Had he returned to Ireland as the nuns expected, Brendan may have never happened.   His parents taught him hard work, compassion and integrity. It’s with these same traits that Brendan has built a successful business . He’s known for going the extra mile and acting as a fierce advocate for friends, family and clients.

Initially a civil engineer by trade, a few of Brendan’s friends lured him into the lending industry 27 years ago, and he was instantly hooked.  In an attempt to do things Better, Faster and Smarter than other mortgage companies, he and his Business Partner, Kevin opened Treadstone Mortgage in Michigan in 2003, with the goal of approaching mortgage lending differently than other firms, always practicing ethical, honest, common sense lending.   The continuing growth led them to  Tony and Reno at Neighborhood Loans, the premier lender in the US, where fairness, stellar service and transparency rule the day.

Brendan works hard, but family life and having fun is important to him, too. He’s married to the love of his life, Christine, and is a hands-on father to their four wonderful, now adult children.  Coaching them as kids was a cherished time and led him to a love of business/financial coaching. He enjoys walks, reading and quiet time, but is equally comfortable singing old Irish folk songs in front of 200 people. Brendan has a stellar reputation and has proven that if you love what you do and who you’re with, it all comes together.  And, his dog Truman is one of his most favorite people .
