Beth Flippo is the CEO of DEXA, a pioneering logistics company transforming last-mile delivery through autonomous drone technology. Under her leadership, DEXA became one of the first companies in the U.S. to receive FAA Part 135 Certification, enabling drone deliveries beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS)—a major breakthrough in commercial aviation.
A seasoned embedded systems engineer, Beth brings over 20 years of experience across finance, technology, and aerospace. Her passion for robotics, communications, and mobility drives DEXA’s mission to deliver faster, safer, and more sustainable solutions nationwide. Before founding DEXA, Beth served as VP of Embedded Software Development at TELEGRID Technologies, leading innovations adopted by the U.S. Department of Defense. She began her career in New York’s financial sector, developing high-volume trading systems for firms like UBS, Cantor Fitzgerald, and Goldman Sachs.
Beth holds a B.S. in Computer Science from SUNY Binghamton, is an FAA-certified drone pilot, andholds an FCC radio license. Based in Dayton, Ohio, she is a frequent speaker on aviation innovation and a dedicated mentor for women in STEM and entrepreneurship.
